Synopsis

"Hunters and Prey" When the Batman derides him in the training room, Vibe stalks out. Manhunter examines the murder weapon from John Jones's investigation, then demonstrates to Gypsy the teleportation tubes he has installed in Metropolis, Gotham City, and New York. Adam reveals to the captive Zatanna why Sheri Stanley has lured her there. Knowing that she is a true sorceress, he intends to duplicate her DNA code, attach it to a retrovirus, and inject himself so as to increase his own natural charismatic power to her level. In Burt Biloxi's office, Gypsy, accompanied by J'onn J'onzz, rifles through the files to find information about Pamela Cross, then goes off alone in search of the girl, a fellow runaway. Finally, Despero enters the earth's atmosphere, ramming the Justice League satellite and destroying its orbit. He rides the wreckage to the surface.
